Some of you may remember Tara Kirk
from the swim clinic we held a couple of years ago.
Well she can now add TV Star to her impressive
resume. The following was posted on her web site at
www.tarakirk.net :
Tara Kirk's "What Not To Wear" Episode Premiers
Friday
The episode of the hit TLC makeover program "What
Not To Wear", which
Tara Kirk
taped right before the Santa Clara International,
will make its debut Friday at 9PM (ET) on TLC.
For more info on the show, visit the "What Not To
Wear"
website.
Here is a brief synopsis of the episode:
Tara is a 25-year-old Olympic swimming hopeful
who has had trouble finding clothing that suits her
broad shoulders and well-toned body, so style
experts Stacy and Clinton give her a complete
make-over by helping her make the right choices.

Nice
article in the Plain Dealer about Eddis
Singleton and the mention of USC and our head
coach Charlie Lownes. The preliminaries for
the 50 free are scheduled for Friday morning and
you can follow the event live via webcast from
www.nbcolympics.com and live results from
www.usaswimming.org
This is a
classic example of dreams and doing what is
necessary to make them happen. We can always
hope but until we do it means nothing. It is
also and example that to fulfill one's dreams,
it takes a lot of other people to facilitate
that desire. Can you imagine making the cut
and not going? We have said it many times
before, most regrets we have in life are about
opportunities not taken.
There are
many programs out there that make promises on
how fast they can make you swim. And in the
long run they fail at that, because it really
comes down to what you will do to reach your
goals. Our coaching staff is dedicated to
"facilitating" your dreams and helping you reach
your goals

Need more entries
for Canton on June 7 and 8. We will closed entries for this meet
on May 15th This is listed as a TEAM MEET.
The definition of a team meet is for everyone registered and in the
practice groups to attend this meet, a show of force.( unless it is your graduation or prom ). That should only
include a very few, the rest needs to come! The Canton meet has no
cut times in almost all events and is barely an hour away from just about
everybody in the USC Nation. This is the same venue that the state
high school championships are held. Many fast swimmers
have been there and that means you.
